The highly effective oil-gel texture gently and thoroughly removes pollution and make-up. Our exclusive PR3 rose complex reduces the effects of blue light, protects against the skin’s visible stress reactions and supports cellular detoxification. Macadamia oil leaves skin feeling velvety soft. Counters premature, digital and stress-related aging.

Water is the most common ingredient in cosmetics. It acts as a solvent and helps hydrate the skin. At our production site, we use our own BÖRLIND deep spring water, sourced from a depth of 166 meters and known for its exceptional purity.

Marula seed oil
The oil extracted from marula tree seeds comes from a socio-ecological project in Namibia. Its high omega fatty acid content and vitamins gives it barrier-strengthening and moisture-regulating effects. It is also rich in antioxidants that help counteract skin aging.

Citric acid is obtained from plant substrate through fermentation. It is used to regulate pH levels. It is also an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid).
ROSA FLORIBUNDA CALLUS EXTRACT
"Black Forest Rose" oil-soluble extract from stem cell culture (sustainable, modern and GMO-free method for deriving active substances from plants)
These sustainably obtained extracts from Black Forest rose stem cells were developed exclusively for Börlind. Both extracts have a moisturizing effect. The lipo-soluble extract stimulates the skin’s own hyaluronic acid production, strengthens the skin’s protective barrier and increases skin elasticity. The hydro-soluble extract activates the skin’s collagen synthesis, while at the same time inhibiting collagen breakdown and thus counteracting skin aging.

Red iron oxide
This cosmetic colorant is used to color skin care products and decorative cosmetics.

What is blue light and why it is harmful?

Blue light is the light that digital media such as smartphones, tablets and laptops emit. The energy-rich blue light rays penetrate into the skin more deeply than UV light. This can have negative effects on the skin, such as damage to DNA in mitochondria, formation of free radicals, blue light-induced oxidative stress and cell damage.
