Sun protection inspired by nature: BÖRLIND SUN Sun Cream uses natural proactive ingredients from the kombu algae. Shaped by the tides, the power plant contains active ingredients that protect against the sun and prevent inflammation. Combined with high-quality mineral and other functional sun protection filters, the result is a skin-friendly sunscreen that reliably protects your skin from UVA and UVB radiation. It wraps itself around your skin like an invisible veil and leaves you feeling soft to the touch. Antioxidants like vitamin C, provitamin E or rosemary leaf extract also ensure free radicals are neutralized. All so that your skin stays in its natural balance.

WHY IS SUN PROTECTION IMPORTANT?
Our skin has a unique system that can regulate itself to external dangers. However, some influences like the sun's UV radiation can shake this system. Short-wave UVA radiation and long-wave UVB radiation have a big impact on this. When our skin is exposed to intensive UVA radiation, the upper skin layer becomes inflamed, resulting in a sunburn- UVB radiation penetrates the skin even deeper resulting in harmful molecules called free radicals. They react with our skin's cell structure in our skin causing the skin to prematurely age. Extensive sun protection is important because it guards the skin agains sunburns and premature aging, which preserves the natural functions of the skin.

In addition, our sun cream is designed without nanoparticles, since these particals also are suspected to be harmful to the ocean environment and the organisms that inhabit it.
