Therefore, alternative substances used in vegan cosmetics are not always available in organic quality or they contradict the principles of natural cosmetics.

It is in our nature at ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND to always think one step ahead when it comes to natural active ingredients. This philosophy transends to the search for innovative vegan ingredients. Therefore, our special focus lies in discovering purely herbal substances for our products and refining them into highly effective natural cosmetics using the latest scientific methods. In doing so, we induce vegan active ingredients from nature, which efficiently overrides any animal sources alternatives.

FRESH BOTANICAL CELLS

Plant-based fresh cells for beutiful skin - without any animal suffering or side effects. ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND is a pioneer and trailblazer when it comes to the use of fresh botanical papyrus cells in cosmetics. The highly effective extract is collected from stem cells found in the papyrus leaves. This ingredient stimulates cell renewal, strengthens the skin barrier and thus has an effective moisturizing effect on the skin.

BOTANICAL HYALURONIC ACID

Hyaleronic acid is an omportant component in connective tissue and is today a staple in the cosmetics industry since its introduction in the 1980s. Animal extracts were originally used for this component, followed by synthetically produced or from bacterial cultures. The botanical hyaluronic acid from ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND is sourced from the "snow fungus", a mushroom known in Japan and China for its medicinal properties. The chemical structure of this mushroom's extract is very similar to the hyaluronic acid of the skin. Botanical hyaluronic acid has a moisturizing and smoothing effect but feels more pleasant than acids syntethically or animal derived variants.
