Description

Sugar molecule cyclodextrin binds excess sebum, mattifying the complexion. Algae extracts and green tea balance, counteract free radicals and refine the skin’s appearance. Ylang ylang oil helps to relax with its floral sweetness. Sandalwood enhances the even character of the fragrance composition. The slightly tart and woody balsamic cedar oil adds a balancing accent. 

Efficacy and skin-compatibility scientifically confirmed. Free of mineral oil derivatives. Vegan.

Water is the most common ingredient in cosmetics. It acts as a solvent and helps hydrate the skin. At our production site, we use our own BÖRLIND deep spring water, sourced from a depth of 166 meters and known for its exceptional purity.
ALCOHOL
Pure undenatured ethyl alcohol, potable alcohol
Pure (undenatured) potable alcohol, derived from the fermentation of plants containing starch or sugar, is used as a solvent for extracts and active substances. It also has refreshing, vascular toning and preserving effects.
SORBITOL
Sorbitol
Sorbitol, derived from plant starch, has a moisturizing effect and is also used as a base for powdered active substances from plants.
CYCLODEXTRIN
Cyclodextrin
Cyclodextrin is obtained enzymatically from plant starch. It has a mattifying effect and can also be used as a base material for active substances.
PANTHENOL
D-Panthenol/provitamin B5
This provitamin improves the skin’s elasticity and accelerates cell regeneration. It has moisturizing and regenerating effects.
CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT
Tea leaf extract
Organic green tea extract contains many antioxidants. These protect against free radicals and thus against premature skin aging.

Brown algae extract is rich in minerals, trace elements and various vitamins. It protects against free radicals and thus against premature skin aging as well.

Arginine
Arginine is an amino acid. Amino acids are components of proteins and also occur in human skin as natural moisturizing factors (NMF). They maintain the skin’s protective acid mantle layer and bind moisture.

Aroma is the collective term for fragrances such as plant distillates, mixtures of essential oils and perfume compounds.

Potassium sorbate
Potassium sorbate is a nature-identical preservative. It occurs naturally in unripe rowan berries.
CITRIC ACID
Citric acid
Citric acid is obtained from plant substrate through fermentation. It is used to regulate pH levels. It is also an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid).

0% Microplastics
Plastics can be used in cosmetics in the form of exfoliating beads or as liquid plastic. Annemarie Börlind formulations do not contain microplastics - neither in solid nor in liquid form.
No package insert
We are currently gradually removing the package inserts from all our products, which enables us to save over 15 tons of paper every year. You can find all the important information on the inside of the folding box.

PETA is one of the largest animal welfare organizations in the world. Their certification confirms that Annemarie Börlind does not carry out or commission any animal testing. In addition, all our products are vegetarian and around 79% vegan.

Skin type – combination skin

Combination skin requires care that brings the skin’s opposing needs back into balance. Especially in the T-zone – the forehead, nose and chin – the skin can look shiny and oily and may have blackheads. This is where the sebaceous glands are overactive. The cheeks and the skin around the eyes, in contrast, tend to be drier and sometimes rough. Taking care of combination skin is challenging as a result and having the right products is extremely important.
