ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND is developed and manufactured in Germany. As a brand of Börlind GmbH, we research, develop and produce our products at our headquarters in Calw, in the Black Forest. Bringing research, development and production together in one location ensures consistent quality and full transparency.
ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND does not operate a natural cosmetics factory outlet. Our products are not sold directly on site in Calw. Instead, the full range is available through our online shop as well as via our authorised retail partners, both online and in store.
Our natural skincare is formulated with carefully selected ingredients and tested for high dermatological compatibility. Our products are at least vegetarian, often vegan, certified cruelty-free by PETA, and free from microplastics, silicones and mineral oil derivatives. We focus on effective formulations that support the skin’s natural balance without unnecessary additives.
Sustainability has been part of our philosophy since our founding in 1959. We combine responsible sourcing, climate-conscious production and certified quality management standards to minimise our environmental impact. Our goal is to create skincare that respects both people and the planet.
Yes. Our manufacturing processes are certified according to ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 22716 for Good Manufacturing Practice in cosmetics. Many of our products are also certified according to the internationally recognised COSMOS Natural standard, which confirms environmentally responsible production and a natural origin of over 99 percent of ingredients. In addition, Börlind GmbH is certified as a climate-neutral company through ClimatePartner and recognised by PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies programme for its cruelty-free commitment.
ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND skincare is developed for different skin types and life stages. Our range includes solutions for young skin as well as more demanding and mature skin, and is suitable for both women and men. We focus on targeted care that supports the skin’s natural functions in an individual way.
