What began in the Black Forest in 1959 still inspires us today. Annemarie Lindner, a pioneer of natural cosmetics, was convinced: “If I can’t eat it, I won’t put it on my skin.” Now in our third generation, we continue to honor her promise. We combine traditional botanical knowledge with scientific research to create natural cosmetics that respect the skin, people, and the environment.

ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND is developed and manufactured in Germany. As a brand of Börlind GmbH, we research, develop and produce our products at our headquarters in Calw, in the Black Forest. Bringing research, development and production together in one location ensures consistent quality and full transparency.
ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND does not operate a natural cosmetics factory outlet. Our products are not sold directly on site in Calw. Instead, the full range is available through our online shop as well as via our authorised retail partners, both online and in store.
Our natural skincare is formulated with carefully selected ingredients and tested for high dermatological compatibility. Our products are at least vegetarian, often vegan and free from microplastics, silicones and mineral oil derivatives. We focus on effective formulations that support the skin’s natural balance without unnecessary additives.

Yes. Our manufacturing processes are certified according to ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 22716 for Good Manufacturing Practice in cosmetics. Many of our products are also certified according to the internationally recognised COSMOS Natural standard, which confirms environmentally responsible production and a natural origin of over 99 percent of ingredients.
