The liquid wax obtained from the seed of the jojoba shrub has smoothing, nurturing and protective effects. It is absorbed well without being greasy and has UV-absorbing properties.

Cetyl palmitate

Since the company’s founding, ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND has not used animal extracts in its products. Which is why we use two vegan types of hyaluronic acid in our cosmetics. The body recognizes them thanks to their molecular structure, which means they are tolerated very well.

What is hyaluronic acid, and how does it affect the skin?

Hyaluronic acid belongs to the family of sugars and is produced naturally by our bodies. The largest amount is found in our skin. It has the unique ability to bind an extraordinary amount of water. In fact, one gram of hyaluronic acid can hold up to six liters of water. The moisturizing effect of hyaluronic acid in skincare products leaves the skin looking beautifully plump and fresh, fills in fine lines, and protects the skin from drying out.
