Water
Water is the most common ingredient in cosmetics. It acts as a solvent and helps hydrate the skin. At our production site, we use our own BÖRLIND deep spring water, sourced from a depth of 166 meters and known for its exceptional purity.
CAMELLIA JAPONICA SEED OIL
Camellia japonica seed oil
The oil obtained from the seed of the camellia plant is rich in gamma linolenic acid (GLA). This strengthens the skin’s protective barrier, promotes cell regeneration and thereby reduces moisture loss from the skin. The oil is therefore particularly suitable for the care of flaky, dry skin.
SIMMONDSIA CHINENSIS SEED OIL [JOJOBA]
Jojoba oil
The liquid wax obtained from the seed of the jojoba shrub has smoothing, nurturing and protective effects. It is absorbed well without being greasy and has UV-absorbing properties.
SQUALANE
Squalane
Squalane, derived from sugar cane or olives, is very similar to the skin’s natural squalene. This botanical oil leaves skin feeling silky and non-greasy. It has smoothing and moisture-retaining effects.
COCO-CAPRYLATE
Fatty acid ester
This vegetable oil component is absorbed well by the skin and leaves no oily film.
GLYCERIN
Glycerin
Glycerin, derived from vegetable oil, has a moisturizing effect.
BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII BUTTER [SHEA]
Shea butter
The organic shea butter, obtained from the vitellaria tree, is rich in unsaturated fatty acids and vitamins. Shea butter offers very good skin protection and makes dry, flaky skin supple again.
LIMNANTHES ALBA SEED OIL [MEADOWFOAM]
Meadowfoam oil
The oil obtained from the seed of the north American meadowfoam protects skin very well and makes dry, flaky skin supple again. It is absorbed well and does not leave any oily film on the skin.

Bentonite
This mixture of natural clay minerals, created by the weathering of volcanic ash, thickens and stabilizes emulsions.
ISOMALT
Maltitol, moss
This part of an ingredient complex, which is obtained with biotechnology from moss, strengthens the resilience of the skin and protects it in particular from environmental influences. This significantly delays skin aging.
CETEARYL ALCOHOL

This waxy fatty alcohol, derived from vegetable fatty acids, is used as an emulsifier and consistency enhancer.

Aroma is the collective term for fragrances such as plant distillates, mixtures of essential oils and perfume compounds.

Behenyl alcohol
Behenyl alcohol, obtained from moringa tree seeds, is a lipid component (fatty alcohol). It nourishes the skin and enhances the consistency of emulsions.
JOJOBA ESTERS
Jojoba wax
The wax obtained from the seed of the jojoba plant is used in conjunction with acacia and sunflower wax. It protects the skin from loss of moisture.
GLYCERYL STEARATE
Emulsifier
This emulsifier, derived from plant substances, binds water with oil.
BENZYL ALCOHOL
Benzyl alcohol
Fragrance found in perfume blends and/or plant extracts. To be listed separately in the list of ingredients in accordance with the EU Regulation on Cosmetic Products. Benzyl alcohol is also used as a preservative.

Stabilizer, (co-)emulsifiers
These stabilizers and (co-)emulsifiers, derived from plant substances, bind water with oil.

Sunflower wax
The wax obtained from the seed of the sunflower is used in conjunction with jojoba and acacia wax. It protects the skin from loss of moisture. When applied to the hair, it enhances suppleness and manageability.
SODIUM STEAROYL GLUTAMATE
(Co-)emulsifier
This co-emulsifier, derived from plant substances, binds water with oil.
GLYCERYL CAPRYLATE
Lipid component
This lipid component, derived from plant fatty acids and vegetable glycerin, stabilizes emulsions. It is also moisturizing and nourishing.
TOCOPHEROL
Vitamin E
Vitamin E, derived from vegetable oils, stabilizes cosmetics. As an antioxidant, it protects against free radicals and thus against premature skin aging. It also prevents skin damage caused by UV rays.
XANTHAN GUM
Xanthan
Xanthan gum is obtained through fermentation from a plant substrate and is used as a natural gelling agent.

Tea leaf extract
Organic green tea extract contains many antioxidants. These protect against free radicals and thus against premature skin aging.

Sclerotium gum

Ferment from plant substrate
The ferment is obtained from plant substrate (sugarcane) through fermentation. It keeps the skin in good condition.
PINUS SYLVESTRIS BUD EXTRACT
Conifer buds from Black Forest pines
Innovative complex from the hyperfermentation of conifer buds and honey from the Black Forest. It has an anti-oxidative effect and therefore prevents skin aging.

Citric acid

Summer Snowflake bulb extract
The extract obtained from the bulbs of the Summer Snowflake relaxes the skin and is therefore shown to soften wrinkles. The high proportion of phytonutrients slows down cell division, which is referred to as slow aging.

This colorless carotenoid, obtained from blood red algae or green algae, has an antioxidant effect 14 times stronger than that of vitamin E. It protects against free radicals and thus helps to prevent premature skin aging. It is also used as a natural colorant.
