Water is the most common ingredient in cosmetics. It acts as a solvent and helps hydrate the skin. At our production site, we use our own BÖRLIND deep spring water, sourced from a depth of 166 meters and known for its exceptional purity.

Neutral vegetable oil
This neutral oil is a mixture of medium-chain fatty acids derived from plants. It is a gentle, non-greasy and oxidatively stable oil.

This emulsifier, derived from plant substances, binds water with oil.

Arginine is an amino acid. Amino acids are components of proteins and also occur in human skin as natural moisturizing factors (NMF). They maintain the skin’s protective acid mantle layer and bind moisture.

St. John’s wort extract
Organic St. John’s wort extract is a traditional natural remedy. The substances in this plant have anti-inflammatory, vascular toning and antimicrobial effects.

BISABOLOL
(Alpha) bisabolol
Organic FSC-certified bisabolol, obtained from the candeia tree, has anti-inflammatory and calming properties.
HIBISCUS SABDARIFFA FLOWER EXTRACT
Hibiscus flower extract
Organic hibiscus flower extract (rose of Sharon) is a traditional natural remedy. It has antioxidant, firming and anti-inflammatory effects.
HAMAMELIS VIRGINIANA LEAF EXTRACT
Witch-hazel leaf extract
Organic witch-hazel leaf extract is a traditional natural remedy. It has an anti-inflammatory effect and refines pores.
PYRIDOXINE TRIPALMITATE
Pyridoxine tripalmitate/vit. B6 tripalmitate
This fat-soluble form of vitamin B6 nourishes the skin.
SALVIA OFFICINALIS LEAF EXTRACT [SAGE]
Sage leaf extract
Organic sage leaf extract has astringent, antimicrobial and antiperspirant effects.

This emulsifier, derived from plant substances, binds water with oil.
CITRIC ACID
Citric acid
Citric acid is obtained from plant substrate through fermentation. It is used to regulate pH levels. It is also an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid).

0% Microplastics
Plastics can be used in cosmetics in the form of exfoliating beads or as liquid plastic. Annemarie Börlind formulations do not contain microplastics - neither in solid nor in liquid form.
No package insert
We are currently gradually removing the package inserts from all our products, which enables us to save over 15 tons of paper every year. You can find all the important information on the inside of the folding box.
PETA certified
PETA is one of the largest animal welfare organizations in the world. Their certification confirms that Annemarie Börlind does not carry out or commission any animal testing. In addition, all our products are vegetarian and around 79% vegan.
CSE certified
CSE (Certified Sustainable Economics) stands for a certified sustainable company. CSE is a certification at company level and is therefore not a direct product certification.
Climate neutral product
This product is climate-neutral. We offset the carbon created during the entire process by supporting a climate-protection and drinking water project in Cambodia.

INNOVATION IN NATURAL COSMETICS

After four years of development work with numerous tests and a scientific confirmation of efficacy, it was finally time. In 1974, Börlind put the first care system range, LL REGENERATION, on the natural cosmetics market. This marked the company’s breakthrough into the international market. Its exact composition remains one of Börlind’s best-kept secrets to this day.
