AQUA [WATER]
Water
Water is the most common ingredient in cosmetics. It acts as a solvent and helps hydrate the skin. At our production site, we use our own BÖRLIND deep spring water, sourced from a depth of 166 meters and known for its exceptional purity.
ALCOHOL
Pure undenatured ethyl alcohol, potable alcohol
Pure (undenatured) potable alcohol, derived from the fermentation of plants containing starch or sugar, is used as a solvent for extracts and active substances. It also has refreshing, vascular toning and preserving effects.
GLYCERIN
Glycerin
Glycerin, derived from vegetable oil, has a moisturizing effect.
COCO-CAPRYLATE/CAPRATE
Fatty acid ester
This vegetable oil component is absorbed well by the skin and leaves no oily film.
BENTONITE
Bentonite
This mixture of natural clay minerals, created by the weathering of volcanic ash, thickens and stabilizes emulsions.
AROMA [FRAGRANCE]
Essential oils, distillates, perfume, fragrances and aromas
Aroma is the collective term for fragrances such as plant distillates, mixtures of essential oils and perfume compounds.
PRINSEPIA UTILIS SEED OIL [DHATELO]
Nepalese dhatelo seed oil
The oil obtained from the seed of the dhatelo comes from a socio-environmental project in Nepal. It nourishes and smooths the skin.
PCA GLYCERYL OLEATE
PCA glyceryl oleate
This substance, derived from vegetable oils, has nourishing and moisture-binding effects. It keeps skin and hair smooth and supple.
BENZYL ALCOHOL
Benzyl alcohol
Fragrance found in perfume blends and/or plant extracts. To be listed separately in the list of ingredients in accordance with the EU Regulation on Cosmetic Products. Benzyl alcohol is also used as a preservative.
OLEYL ALCOHOL
Fatty alcohol

Xanthan gum is obtained through fermentation from a plant substrate and is used as a natural gelling agent.

This neutral oil is a mixture of medium-chain fatty acids derived from plants. It is a gentle, non-greasy and oxidatively stable oil.

Crystallized resin drops from a particular pistachio tree
The oily extract obtained from the resin of the wild pistachio tree activates the skin’s “youth gene.”
ADENOSINE
Nucleoside
Made using biotechnology with sustainability in mind, adenosine is a powerful active substance that counteracts the signs of aging. It is anti-inflammatory, soothes the skin and promotes collagen production, which optimally contributes to the firming and rejuvenation of the skin.

0% Microplastics
Plastics can be used in cosmetics in the form of exfoliating beads or as liquid plastic. Annemarie Börlind formulations do not contain microplastics - neither in solid nor in liquid form.
COSMOS certified
COSMOS NATURAL stands for products that comply with the COSMOS-standard in all respects. They must contain a minimum proportion of natural ingredients.
No package insert
We are currently gradually removing the package inserts from all our products, which enables us to save over 15 tons of paper every year. You can find all the important information on the inside of the folding box.
PETA certified
PETA is one of the largest animal welfare organizations in the world. Their certification confirms that Annemarie Börlind does not carry out or commission any animal testing. In addition, all our products are vegetarian and around 79% vegan.
CSE certified
CSE (Certified Sustainable Economics) stands for a certified sustainable company. CSE is a certification at company level and is therefore not a direct product certification.
Climate neutral product
This product is climate-neutral. We offset the carbon created during the entire process by supporting a climate-protection and drinking water project in Cambodia.

AGING SKIN

As we age, so does our skin. We see little lines and wrinkles and our skins starts to lose elasticity and tone. This happens when production of collagen and elastin start to decrease. Our skin loses vitality, and it becomes less firm. Our ANTI-AGING REVITALIZER combats the effects of aging by firming and lifting skin. It’s moisturizing properties plump lines and wrinkles.
