PR3 Rose Complex: The exclusive PR³ rose complex consists of Peony, Black Forest Rose and Desert Rose (CISTUS). It reduces the harmful effects of blue light, protects the skin against visible stress reactions such as redness and supports cellular detoxification.
Chaga fungus: Wild-harvested chaga mushroom extract is a traditional natural remedy. Its high level of antioxidant activity helps protect cells against environmental influences. It also has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties.
AQUA [WATER]: BÖRLIND’s own deep spring water comes from 166 meters below ground. It is characterized by its high level of purity and impeccable microbiological quality.
GLYCERIN: Glycerin, derived from vegetable oil, has a moisturizing effect.
SIMMONDSIA CHINENSIS SEED OIL [JOJOBA]: The liquid wax obtained from the seed of the jojoba shrub has smoothing, nurturing and protective effects. It is absorbed well without being greasy and has UV-absorbing properties.
SQUALANE: Squalane, derived from sugar cane, is very similar to the skin’s natural squalene. This botanical oil leaves skin feeling silky and non-greasy. It has smoothing and moisture-retaining effects.
CETEARYL ALCOHOL: This waxy fatty alcohol, derived from vegetable fatty acids, is used as an emulsifier and consistency enhancer.
CARYODENDRON ORINOCENSE SEED OIL: The oil obtained from cacay nut is rich in vitamins A and E. It protects against free radicals and thus against premature aging. It also does not leave behind any oily shine. It also has regenerating, smoothing and moisture-retaining effects.
SCLEROCARYA BIRREA SEED OIL: The oil extracted from the seed of the marula tree comes from a socio-ecological project in Namibia. Due to the high content of omega fatty acids and vitamins, it has a barrier-strengthening and moisture-regulating effect. It is very rich in antioxidants which counteract skin aging.
SCLEROTIUM GUM: Sclerotium gum, sustainably obtained using biotechnology, is a long-chain carbohydrate. It is used as a natural viscosity regulator and emulsion stabilizer.
AROMA [FRAGRANCE]: Aroma is the collective term for fragrances such as plant distillates, mixtures of essential oils and perfume compounds.
BENZYL ALCOHOL: Fragrance contained in perfume mixtures. To be listed separately in the list of ingredients in accordance with the EU Regulation on Cosmetic Products. Benzyl alcohol is also used as a preservative.
JOJOBA ESTERS: The wax obtained from the seed of the jojoba plant is used in conjunction with acacia and sunflower wax. It protects the skin from loss of moisture.
GLYCERYL STEARATE: This emulsifier, derived from plant substances, binds water with oil.
ECTOIN: The amino acid ectoin, sustainably obtained using biotechnology, is a protective molecule that microorganisms use to protect themselves from drying out due to heat, UV radiation and high salt concentrations. In cosmetics, ectoin has moisturizing, smoothing and firming effects. In addition, it protects against the negative consequences of UV radiation.
TOCOPHEROL: Vitamin E, derived from vegetable oils, stabilizes cosmetics. As an antioxidant, it protects against free radicals and thus against premature skin aging. It also prevents skin damage caused by UV rays.
SODIUM LEVULINATE: This salt of levulinic acid stabilizes the pH level of cosmetics and has an antimicrobial effect.
GLYCERYL CAPRYLATE: This lipid component, derived from plant fatty acids and vegetable glycerin, stabilizes emulsions. It is also moisturizing and nourishing.
HELIANTHUS ANNUUS SEED CERA: The wax obtained from the seed of the sunflower is used in conjunction with jojoba and acacia wax. It protects the skin from loss of moisture.
SODIUM STEAROYL GLUTAMATE: This co-emulsifier, derived from plant substances, binds water with oil.
SODIUM ANISATE: Sodium anisate stabilizes the pH level of cosmetics and has an antimicrobial effect.
HELIANTHUS ANNUUS SEED OIL [SUNFLOWER]: The organic sunflower oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acids and vitamins. It has nourishing and smoothing effects.
MENTHYL LACTATE: Menthyl lactate, derived from menthol and vegetable lactic acid, has cooling, refreshing and moisturizing effects.

LACTIC ACID: Lactic acid, derived from plants through fermentation, has a moisturizing effect. It is also an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid).
POLYGLYCERIN-3: This emulsifier, derived from plant substances, binds water with oil.

PAEONIA LACTIFLORA ROOT EXTRACT: Peony root extract is a traditional natural remedy. It is an antioxidant and protects against the harmful effects of blue-light radiation. Cell recycling is optimized, meaning the epidermis is strengthened and wrinkles are reduced.
CISTUS INCANUS FLOWER/LEAF/STEM EXTRACT: Organic cistus rose extract is a traditional natural remedy. Because of its high polyphenol content, it has antioxidant properties and therefore counters digital stress on the skin. The extract improves the skin’s elasticity and firmness and thus decreases wrinkle formation.
TREHALOSE: This sugar molecule, derived from plant starch, has a moisturizing effect.
INONOTUS OBLIQUUS EXTRACT [MUSHROOM]: Wild-harvested chaga mushroom extract is a traditional natural remedy. Its high level of antioxidant activity helps protect cells against environmental influences. It also has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties.
SODIUM BENZOATE: This benzoic acid salt is a nature-identical preservative.
POTASSIUM SORBATE: Potassium sorbate is a nature-identical preservative. It occurs naturally in unripe rowan berries.

HAEMATOCOCCUS PLUVIALIS EXTRACT: The carotenoid extracted from the blood rain or green algae has an antioxidant effect that is 14 times stronger than that of vitamin E. It protects against free radicals and thus against premature skin aging. In addition, it is also used as a natural colorant.
CITRIC ACID: Citric acid is obtained from plant substrate through fermentation. It is used to regulate pH levels. It is also an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid).
ALCOHOL: Pure (undenatured) potable alcohol, derived from the fermentation of plants containing starch or sugar, is used as a solvent for extracts and active substances. It also has refreshing, vascular toning and preserving effects.
ROSA FLORIBUNDA CALLUS EXTRACT: These sustainably obtained extracts from Black Forest rose stem cells were developed exclusively for Börlind. Both extracts have a moisturizing effect. The lipo-soluble extract stimulates the skin’s own hyaluronic acid production, strengthens the skin’s protective barrier and increases skin elasticity. The hydro-soluble extract activates the skin’s collagen synthesis, while at the same time inhibiting collagen breakdown and thus counteracting skin aging.
CI 77491 [IRON OXIDES]: This cosmetic colorant is used to color skin care products and decorative cosmetics.
