Description

Beauty Pearls for skin in need of regeneration

The BEAUTY PEARLS ANTI-POLLUTION* & REGENERATION SERUM is a strengthening intensive treatment for stressed skin to support the natural protective barrier of the skin against harmful environmental influences. Biotechnological polysaccharides increase the resilience of your skin, while innovative active ingredient complexes of botanical caviar (a macroalga), green algae, and seeds from the Tara tree firm the skin and activate the production of collagen and elastin. The number and depth of wrinkles are visibly reduced, and the skin retains its natural radiance. The fine pearl structure is still visible when the serum is applied and melts into the skin when it is massaged in.

Use

Apply the serum to the cleansed facial skin in the morning, and massage in. Then apply your usual day cream.

Ingredients*

  • AQUA [WATER]
    • Deep spring water. Water from the red sandstone strata of the northern Black Forest in Germany. It is obtained from our own well at a depth of 165 meters, and is unchlorinated and naturally pure. Its function is to moisturize the surface of the skin and to act as a solvent for water-soluble ingredients and plant extracts.
  • GLYCERIN
    • Glycerin. A component of all fats and oils. Glycerin has a moisturizing effect. For BÖRLIND, it is derived solely from vegetable oil.
  • POLYGLYCERYL-5 LAURATE
    • An emulsifier from regrowing raw materials: plant glycerin and plant lauric acid.
  • PROPANEDIOL
    • Natural glycol. Natural cosmetics-compliant propanediol from a sustainable fermentation process, derived from corn sugar.
  • PHENOXYETHANOL
    • Phenoxyethanol. A nature-identical preservative. It occurs naturally in green tea and chicory.
  • HYDROXYETHYLCELLULOSE
    • A cellulose derivative. A film-forming agent and stabilizer derived from plant cellulose.
  • CAULERPA LENTILLIFERA EXTRACT
    • Extract from a green alga (which, because of its appearance, is also known as “green caviar” or “sea grapes”). It strengthens the epidermal junction (betters the cohesion and exchange between the epidermis and dermis). Has a firming effect and improves the skin's structure. Signs of skin aging are reduced.
  • MICA
    • Mica. Mica is a natural mineral which has been used for cosmetic purposes for centuries. It gives a subtle shine to cosmetics. When coated with titanium dioxide, it is known as “pearlescent pigments”.
  • PARFUM [FRAGRANCE]
    • Essential oils, distillates, perfume, fragrances and aromatic substances. The collective term for all fragrances: from an individual essential oil through to perfume compositions made up of many different fragrances.
  • ENTEROMORPHA COMPRESSA EXTRACT
    • Extract from a green alga. This alga extract helps to protect the skin and has an anti-aging effect.
  • CALCIUM ALGINATE
    • Calcium salt of alginic acid. A polysaccharide obtained from brown algae. Used as a natural gelling agent.
  • GELLAN GUM

  • CI 77891 [TITANIUM DIOXIDE]
    • Titanium dioxide. A white coloring and UV filter.
  • BIOSACCHARIDE GUM-4
    • A biotechnologically derived polysaccharide. It has the function of an interactive matrix (a kind of “second skin”) – a protective shield to ward off negative environmental influences.
  • SODIUM HYALURONATE
    • Sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. Sodium hyaluronate has an outstanding ability to bind water. It moisturizes and smooths. For BÖRLIND, it comes solely from superior, sustainable, vegan and GMO-free (GMO = genetically modified organisms) biotechnological production, in which plant material and ethanol are fermented with the aid of lactic acid bacteria.
  • XANTHAN GUM
    • Xanthan. A polysaccharide produced by microorganisms from plant substrates containing sugar. A gelling/thickening agent that also stabilizes emulsions.
  • HYDROLYZED RICE BRAN PROTEIN
    • Has a moisturizing, smoothing and protective effect. An anti-aging ingredient for skin and hair.
  • CITRIC ACID
    • Citric acid. Derived by fermentation from corn substrate. Used to regulate the pH value of cosmetics.
  • BENZYL BENZOATE
    • Benzyl benzoate. A declarable fragrance contained in perfume compositions.
  • CAESALPINIA SPINOSA GUM
    • Tara gum. A polysaccharide from the seeds of the tara tree. Used in cosmetics as a natural gelling agent with moisturizing properties and as a reservoir for active ingredients.
