Carbon reduction is an important goal for us. By 2025, we want to reduce the carbon emissions resulting from thermal energy and electricity at our locations from 308.7 t CO2 (2018) to 0 tons CO2, shorten transport routes and become climate positive. We plan to achieve this goal with the help of renewable energy and saving carbon on the product and corporate levels. And we will plant trees and jojoba bushes.

CO2-SAVINGS
We will reduce our location-related carbon emissions resulting from thermal energy and electricity. To do so, we will install regenerative, sustainable energy plants such as photovoltaic at our company location in the Black Forest. We will also minimize our transport emissions by using shorter transport routes with German and European packaging. By the way: Did you know that BÖRLIND has acted climate-neutrally since 2015?
We will continue to compensate for unavoidable carbon emissions on the corporate and product levels.
